On Friday, September 20th we are excited to host touring duo Leigham Fitzpatrick & Hyram Twang from Dunedin.

Leigham and Hyram come from different times, different places and different musical backgrounds but have found themselves on the same path influencing each other's songwriting and musical direction.  In this show they will perform separately and together, playing their original songs and uniquely arranged covers that have influenced both of their musical personas.

Leigham is a Dunedin based singer/songwriter, heavily influenced by the likes of Leonard Cohen and Nick Cave.  Their unusual guitar style combines alternative tunings, wacky capos and a self taught technique, while their lyrics tell stories from their short but exciting life.

Hyram is a multi-instrumentalist and singer/songwriter whose music is best described as "Americana," tinged with the dust of the high deserts and flavoured by the borderlands of California.  Hyram was a founding member of the long running folk band The Chaps and is currently involved in a number of diverse musical projects, this being one.

You can check out their recent performances on YouTube and Facebook @leighamfitzpatrick.
